Mountain Mahogany Knives

Hand shaped knives made out of solid mountain mahogany, harvested here in Teton Valley. These are surprisingly sharp for being made of wood! Mountain mahogany is one of the hardest woods found growing naturally in North America - a close second to desert ironwood. It's said that Native Americans used it to make small spearheads, so why not knives?
 
Each knife has a unique grain characteristic and shape, and are about 5"-6" in length. Contact me if you're after a specific look and I'll send a picture of what I've got in stock!
